There is a "Long Term Recovery Task Force" that has been developed locally among 30+ government and NGO's (non-governmental organizations) local, in the area.
Mission statement of the Long Term Recovery Task Force: Placing recovery resources in the hands of those who need it most.
Vision statement of the Long Term Recovery Task Force: Networking local and regional agencies, organizations and resources to provide appropriate assistance and aid to the residents of Putnam County impacted by the flood of 2007.
