THANK YOU!,

Thank you to these great people and organizations:
Please realize this list is not complete, there are literally thousands of good people, volunteers, companies, and organizations, etc. that will not be listed or will never be recognized. If you are one of them, let me say sincerely, "Thank You!!!" from our community, both from those that have been directly affected and from those who, through your efforts, will eventually be able to enjoy our town after it is put back together again and we can proceed in life as normal.

Yerasoft  www.yerasoft.comWhy pick Yerasoft?
Yerasoft is the webpage company that I have done business with for my own business related webpages. When I approached them to help me get the website www.OttawaFlood.com up and running, their team, including Donovan Wilson, helped us get the web address purchased, and registered PDQ (pretty darn quick). Once I sent them some pictures I took during the flood, they had the top of the page graphic designed in very short order. I approached them about helping a bit with the price tag and they dropped it as low as they could. Their team, has been very helpful ever since. (I knew this would be the case, from prior experience). Inevitably their are always issues with website design and they have been very helpful in rectifying these issues. Thanks guys! Your help has been tremendous!  If you call them ask for Donovan Wilson in sales, he's a good guy.

NEW: Rivals donate supplies to O-G
Beth L. Jokinen |  09.11.2007
OTTAWA, 10 a.m., Sept. 11 — Ottawa schools will be recipients today of the kindness and generosity of students from Williams County. Students at Edgerton and Edon high schools have collected $500 and 40 boxes of school supplies for the Putnam County school district. They decided to help after hearing about the recent flooding in Ottawa. “Everything we are doing is for the kids,” Edgerton High School Principal Jeff Snyder said. “We really wanted to do something just for the kids.”... Chucky C & Clearly Blue Concert

In Ottawa Waterworks Park, Tuesday 9/18/07, Chucky C and his band decided to come up to NW Ohio when they heard about the flooding in the area. It seems as though there were several people who volunteered down in New Orleans after the Katrina disaster to help people rebuild. These volunteers were nicknamed "New Orleans Sheet Rockers" by Chucky C. and were from the Putnam County and NW Ohio area. So they felt that they could come up here and return the favor. The band hails from and plays regularly on Bourbon Street (as well as worldwide gigs in Europe).

They jazzed and rocked the park and set a new coolness level for that park for sure. Thanks for coming and entertaining our community in a time when many needed to take a break from the non-stop rebuilding. You and your band are welcome to our community at anytime!
